Impulse is non custodial by construction. Your recovery phrase is sealed with AES 256 using a key derived from your password, and the unlocked key exists only in session memory. Close the browser or let auto lock fire and it is gone. There is no server holding anything, so there is nothing for anyone to leak or hand over.
